Sara Grein- School Principal

Female Principal
Sara Grein is the principal at Trinity.  She grew up in Nebraska and is a huge Husker fan!  She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Concordia-Nebraska in 2005.  Sara earned her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2017 and completed her Administrator’s Endorsement in 2019.  She has taught in Lutheran schools for 15 years.  Sara is married to her husband, Mike, and they have three boys who attend Trinity.  She loves playing sports and games in her spare time.  Sara is excited to serve the students and families at Trinity!

Kristina Riley- School Secretary

Female Secretary
Kristina has been a member of Trinity since 1992.  She has worked at Trinity, in various capacities since 1994 and has been the school secretary since 2011.  She and her husband, Brian, have three sons; two are educators and one is in law enforcement.  Kristina and Brian have five grandchildren.  She enjoys cooking, baking, crocheting, and spending time with her 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

Linsei Geveden-Preschool

Linsei is the Preschool Teacher at Trinity Lutheran.  Linsei was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is a Trinity graduate and high school grad from Warren Central class of 2004. Linsei completed her CDA and looks forward to further her education in Early Childhood.  She has one daughter who attends Trinity and will be entering the 5th grade. Linsei enjoys reading, being outdoors, and being surrounded by family and friends. Linsei loves being a part of this amazing ministry and loving these children to Christ.

Rebecca Hoff

Female teacher
Rebecca Hoff is the resource teacher here at Trinity Lutheran School. She studied elementary education at Butler University. Since graduating from Butler University in 2002, Rebecca has used her teaching background here locally in Washington Township and abroad in South Africa. Rebecca is currently a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she attends with her husband Phil and two sons, Ian and Jeremiah. Rebecca’s hobbies include gardening, scrapbooking, and hiking with her family.

Amy Leatherman- Kindergarten

Amy Leatherman graduated from Anderson University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and is excited to begin her teaching career at Trinity Lutheran School! She grew up in Fishers, Indiana, and enjoys many things such as painting, rewatching her favorite movies, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog. Amy also likes trying new cooking recipes in her free time. She feels blessed to start teaching at Trinity and can’t wait to bring the love of Jesus into her classroom. 

Kathleen Brandt-1st Grade

Kathleen Brandt graduated from Concordia Nebraska in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. In 2012 she received her Masters in School leadership and Management from the University of Indianapolis.  Mrs. Brandt has taught preschool through grade 5 and has coached volleyball and basketball. Teaching reading and writing are her favorites.

Mrs. Brandt loves  gardening and learning more about God’s beautiful nature and how it grows. She spends her spare time pruning and planting flowers and helping her husband in the vegetable garden. Mrs. Brandt is an avid reader of a plethora of genres. She loves British television and a variety of music including folk, country, and worship styles. Mrs. Brandt enjoys her time with her family. She and her husband love to go camping with their 3 sons and daughter-in-law.

Summer Cox- 4th grade

Female teacher
Summer Cox graduated from Purdue University in 2012. She has spent the past 8 years teaching 2nd and 3rd grade in the Indianapolis area. She has 2 sons, Ezra who is 4 and Levi who is 1. She enjoys sewing and making wreaths! Ms. Cox is very excited to be joining this community and to work with the students at Trinity Lutheran School.   

Cheryl Stoltenberg- 3rd grade

Cheryl Stoltenberg grew up in Seward, Nebraska.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Math from Concordia University Nebraska. Cheryl has been in education over 25 years.  She has taught preschool, first, third, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades.  She is currently teaching third grade at Trinity Lutheran School. Cheryl has four children and six grandchildren.  She enjoys spending time with her family and her lovable dog Pudge.  Cheryl is an avid sports fan and especially enjoys watching the Nebraska Huskers! Cheryl is passionate about working with students and sharing the love of Christ with them.

Becky Thibodeau- 7th Grade Middle School Content

Becky Thibodeau has been teaching middle school language arts at Trinity Lutheran School since 2001. She has been teaching English since 1994. She is married and has two daughters. She enjoys reading, writing, swimming, hiking, gardening and cooking. Also, she loves to serve the Lord in her church and the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.

Joel Rolf- 8th Grade Middle School Content

Male teacher
Mr. Rolf grew up in Palmyra, Missouri, and Clintonville, Wisconsin.  As a result, he is a St. Louis Cardinal and Green Bay Packer fan.  Joel met his wife, Sheryl, while a student at Concordia, River Forest.  Their son, Jeremy, graduated from MacMurray College.  Their daughter, Andrea, graduated from Ball State.  He has served as a Lutheran School educator for over 30 years. This includes time in Roselle, Illinois; Wichita, Kansas; and here in Indianapolis.  He enjoys his “date nights” with his wife, and attempting to beat his children at golf.
